HAPPY DEMENTIA
When one is first diagnosed with dementia, one feels as if the life that you have known it has ended.
The reality is that this will only happen if you allow it to,
The truth is that with lifestyle changes, prayer and meditation one can slow down the advance of dementia very significantly.
You can discover a new meaning to your life. Gratitude for whatever you have is the first step. No matter how poor you are, you will have something more than someone else.
When the awareness of blessings comes the discovery will follow that you can be happy. You yourself can lift your own depression. Mostly by changing your state of mind, but if necessary seek meditation.
Happiness is not something that others can bestow on you, like Father Christmas, no matter how much they care. You must seek it from deep within you.
Don't worry about the future. Take practical steps of course about finances and caring, but don't waste time worrying about the future.
If you take the right lifestyle steps you can extend your life significantly before you enter Alzheimer's or something else.
Of course if your memory goes, you won't know anything about it anyway, but statistically you have more chance of dying from one of the ailments of old age before Alzheimer's reaches you.
Just live each day and be happy. BE happy. You can do it yurself alone.
